State’s street trees remove 567,748 tons of CO2 annually, equivalent to taking 120,000 cars off the road

A new report from the U.S. Forest Service's Pacific Southwest Research Station estimates trees lining Californian streets and boulevards provide benefits to municipalities and residents worth $1 billion.
