IT IS very welcome that the Government remains committed to reducing transport’s carbon dioxide emissions. (‘UK will outpace the EU on CO2 reductions promises Rudd’ LTT 08 Jul). Therefore, irrespective of Brexit, the UK Government must not abandon its support for EU standards for CO2 emissions from trucks.
