Council may allow parents to park in Blue Badge bays

A local authority’s proposal to allow motorists with young children to park in Blue Badge spaces would result in confusion and abuse of accessible bays, a disability group claims.

Flintshire County Council has conducted a 12-month review following the introduction last year of a car parking strategy. The cabinet has now authorised a number of potential changes to the strategy.
