Mobility as a Service ‘must be open access’

Mobility as a Service (MaaS) applications must be developed as open access systems, giving users the widest possible choice of travel options, according to Carplus and Bikeplus, which represent the shared transport sector. 

In a letter to LTT, Carplus/Bikeplus say there is a risk MaaS applications develop on proprietary platforms that “compete with each other for total domination of the transport sector”.
