MPs have voiced scepticism about the DfT’s ability decarbonise the transport sector at the pace recommended by the Committee on Climate Change (CCC). The House of Commons environmental audit committee notes that the DfT expects ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEVs) to make up 3-7% of the UK vehicle market in 2020.
