The RAC Foundation is calling for a review of how parking on private land is enforced after discovering that enforcement companies pursued drivers for more than a million penalty charges in just first three months.
Figures published by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) show it supplied 1.07 million vehicle keeper records to private enforcement companies in the first quarter of 2016/17.
