Network Rail plans to release almost 200 parcels of land for development in England with potential to support about 12,000 homes. Sites include the former Exchange station site in Manchester, which could accommodate 700 homes, and Chesterton near Cambridge, which could accommodate 800 homes. NR will partner with developers to release the land on a site-by-site basis over the next three to four years. Some sites could be grouped and sold as multi-site developments....
