Helen Ramsden has become the head of engagement within the Department for Transport’s new Cycling and Walking Delivery Unit. The role is a two-year secondment from Ramsden’s post at Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM).
The main focus of Ramsden’s remit will be to work closely with local authorities, local enterprise partnerships and combined authorities in support of the government’s Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy.
