The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) presented its annual awards last night. The CILT’s Annual Awards, presented at the Lancaster London last night, recognise achievement in logistics, transport and operations.
Alan Braithwaite, chairman of global supply chain specialist LCP Consulting, received the CILT’s premier accolade, the Sir Robert Lawrence Award. Other winners on the night included Transport for Greater Manchester, Jaguar Land Rover, Reading Buses and Swansea University.
CILT is the independent international professional body for individuals and companies associated with logistics and transport. It has over 33,000 members in over 31 countries worldwide.
Kevin Richardson, chief executive of CILT, said: “Our awards recognise those individuals and businesses who demonstrate a significant contribution to the development of our profession and sector. We received an overwhelming amount of quality entries this year and our judging panel had the difficult task of choosing this year’s winners."
