Could MaaS support shift to road pricing, asks National Infrastructure Commission

The Government’s new National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) has put road user charging on the agenda as it prepares its first National Infrastructure Assessment (NIA). 

The Commission has just issued a call for evidence to inform the first assessment of the UK’s infrastructure needs. Among the 28 questions it poses is: ‘What opportunities does ‘mobility as a service’ create for road user charging? How would this affect road usage?’
