The Government is to prepare fresh plans to bring down air pollution in cities after accepting a High Court ruling that its current plans are inadequate.
Mr Justice Garnham quashed the 2015 air quality plan prepared by the Government, ruling that it failed to comply with last year’s Supreme Court ruling that the Government prepare a plan to bring emissions down to within legal limits “as soon as possible”.
