Lower petrol prices have contributed to “subdued revenue trends” in Stagecoach’s bus and rail divisions, according to the group’s financial results for the six months to 29 October.
Pre-tax profits of £89.5m were down from £90.8m in the corresponding period of 2015/16. Revenue was up 1.6% to £2.00bn (H1 2015/16 £1.97bn).
