ITS (UK) launches 2017 awards

ITS (UK), the organisation for intelligent surface transport systems, has launched its annual awards. The 2017 competition is open to any organisation or individual with a UK business office and that has a significant UK ITS content.

Four annual awards for excellence will be presented at the ITS (UK) Traffex Dinner, which will take place at the NEC in Birmingham on 4 April.

• The Rees Hills annual award for personal contribution
• The young ITS professional of the year award
• Scheme or product of the year award
• The Forward Thinking award for innovation

The nominations will be judged by a panel of ITS professionals representing the whole sector. The panel chaired by ITS (UK) president and former transport minister Steven Norris.

The jury panel members are:

The closing date for nominations is 23 February 2017
