The second Metrolink light rail line through Manchester city centre is due to open on Monday 26 February, owner Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has announced.
The Second City Crossing will connect the expanded St Peter’s Square stop via Princess Street and Cross Street with Exchange Square and Victoria Station. Operator RATP Dev is putting 250 drivers through a training programme to prepare them for the launch of the new line.
