The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) has revealed more detail of its plan to pilot Very Light Rail technology, with a first line envisaged to serve Coventry (LTT 03 Feb).
“Coventry will be the initial area of search for a publicly operating modern Very Light Rail system,” says the draft Movement for Growth – 2026 delivery plan for transport, which explains the WMCA’s transport infrastructure investment priorities.
