English local authorities outside London are being invited to bid for consultancy support to prepare local walking and cycling infrastructure plans (LWCIPs).
Guidance on preparing the non-statutory plans has just been published by the DfT alongside the new Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy (see above). The guidance draws on Transport for London’s cycle design guidance and the Welsh Government’s active travel guidance.
