Transport for London is trialling colour coding of bus routes to make the network easier to understand. Buses on seven routes in the Barkingside area of east London have been given a colour-coded route number, displayed on the side of the vehicle along with a list of the route’s main stopping points. Bus stops are marked with route colours too. Another trial is planned for Hayes in west London this summer. ...
