There is an urgent need for improved cycling infrastructure at junctions in Scotland, says Sustrans. Research carried out by the sustainable transport charity shows that roundabouts and T-junctions are the main cycle accident hotspots in Scotland.
The findings, published by Sustrans’ Scottish Research Programme, were presented at the Scottish Transport Applications and Research (STAR) Conference in Glasgow yesterday.
