No case for mass zebra cull, says City’s congestion review

The city of London Corporation looks likely to retain the majority of its zebra crossings after a review concluded that replacing them with signalised crossings would only cut traffic delays in a minority of cases.

The City’s review of 15 zebras  follows its recent conversion of a zebra on Ludgate Hill to a signalised crossing in order to cut traffic delays.
