Birmingham borrows on bus lane revenue

Birmingham City Council is to use bus lane enforcement income to pay back prudential borrowing for transport improvements. The council has identified road and bridge projects to be funded by prudential borrowing and proposes annual repayments of £486,000 from surplus bus lane enforcement income for 15 years.
