Retro-fit plan to make London’s buses emissions-free

More than 5,000 buses in the capital are set to be retro-fitted with new exhaust systems to help cut pollutants by up to 95% by 2020. The £86.1m programme will see more than half of London’s entire bus fleet is to be upgraded to meet the latest ultra-low Euro VI emissions standard.
