Gatwick Airport is calling on the Government to commit funding to a major increase in rail capacity on the London to Brighton railway.
The rail upgrade is the top priority for the Gatwick Growth Board, set up last year by the airport to identify transport schemes that would benefit the airport and the wider region up to 2025, assuming a single runway airport.
