Birmingham City Council is seeking a commercial settlement with its highways Private Finance Initiative contractor for disputes that have been running for three years.
The PFI contract with Amey Birmingham Highways Ltd commenced in 2010 and runs to 2035. Birmingham has been in dispute with Amey over aspects of the contract since April 2014.
