NR re-thinks rail project delivery in fresh drive to control costs

Third party-funded projects such as new stations and rail re-openings could benefit from Network Rail’s changes to how rail projects are delivered

Network Rail this week announced reforms to rail project delivery, which it  hopes will help put a stop to the stories of cost escalations that have blighted projects both big and small – such as rail re-openings, electrification, and new stations – in recent years.
