Queensferry Crossing is open for business

The Queensferry Crossing over the Forth estuary between Fife and Edinburgh opened this week.

The overall 13.7-mile project, costing £1.35bn, includes motorway upgrades to the north and south and Scotland’s first variable mandatory speed limits.

The crossing replaces the existing Forth Road Bridge, which will now be reserved for buses, walking and cycling.
