20mph speed limit trials set to begin across Westminster

The City of Westminster is to introduce 20mph speed limits to the areas surrounding 38 schools. The 20mph signs will start appearing this this week and every sign should be visible to motorists by next week, said the council.

The schools will be receiving a tailored road safety education programme that will include a school banner competition, theatre show, lessons and on-road pedestrian training to help engage and inform students on the changes.
