A proposed transport interchange in Wolverhampton city centre has been hit by a 50% rise in costs.
The project features rebuilding the city’s the rail and bus stations, extending a multi-storey car park, and building a new Midland Metro stop.
The project budget was set at £51.8m last November. But Tim Joyce, Wolverhampton’s strategic director for place, told councillors the cost has risen to “approximately £75.0m”.
