The term ‘DDA compliant’ should no longer be used

I was disappointed to read in the article on On-demand Shared Transport that Arriva Click's minibuses are “DDA compliant” (LTT 13 Oct). Of course, the term is meaningless. While there is a requirement for almost all public transport vehicles to comply with the appropriate Public Service Vehicle Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR), the Equality Act replaced the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and other equality law in 2010.
