Councils in South East Scotland have decided to freeze their contributions to SEStran, the South East Scotland transport partnership, at £190,000 in 2018/19, rejecting options for cuts of up to 15 per cent. The contribution from the eight member authorities totalled £225,000 in 2011/12 but fell to £200,000 the following year where it remained until 2017/18 when it fell to £190,000.
