Shell has opened a hydrogen refuelling facility at its Beaconsfield filling station in Buckinghamshire. The company says it is the first facility to provide hydrogen, petrol and diesel fuelling facilities. The hydrogen is generated on-site using an electrolyser, requiring only water and electricity to produce hydrogen gas. The hydrogen station is the fifth in the UK to be installed by ITM Power.
