The final cost of London’s Crossrail project will be £590m higher than the approved envelope of £14.8bn, the Government has revealed.
Crossrail Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Transport for London, is responsible for the delivery of the overall programme, and specifically £12.5bn of works including the new tunnels and stations under central London and Docklands.
