I am delighted to read that councils in West Northamptonshire want to study the re-opening of the former railway between Northampton and Market Harborough (ibid).
Not only will it give people in Market Harborough and places along the route access to jobs, leisure and retail shopping in Northampton, but it will also provide opportunities for fast direct trains from Nottingham and Leicester in the north to Northampton and Milton Keynes in the south.
