The Transport Systems Catapult and the Future Cities Catapult are to merge under an agreement that secures a new five-year funding deal from the Government. The merged catapult, whose name has yet to be announced, will be launched next April and have a staff of more than 200. It will operate from the two existing centres in Milton Keynes and London, with new offices planned for Glasgow and Leeds.
