The upper age limit for Wales’ discounted bus travel scheme will be raised next month from 18 to 21. Passengers require a free MyTravelPass (MTP) card to prove their eligibility for a one-third discount on adult fares. The Welsh Government introduced MTP as a pilot for 16 to 18-year-olds in 2015 and consulted on the scheme’s future this year.
