Hundreds of scooters are being given to primary schools across Leeds as part of a scheme to improve children’s health and cut car trips. Scooters and scooter storage will be rolled out across 30 primary schools, most located in the charging clean air zone that will come into effect on 6 January 2020. The scooters are being funded by Government grant to improve the city’s air quality.
