The DfT has awarded Plymouth City Council £22m towards the £54.8m cost of the Forder Valley Link Road, a 0.6-mile road connecting the east of the city to the north, providing a second route between the A38 and Derriford that avoids the congested Manadon roundabout and A386 Tavistock Road.
