I read with interest of the DfT’s regulatory review regarding micromobility vehicles (‘Regulatory reviews to smooth way for new mobility products’ LTT 29 Mar). However, similar machines, in the form of mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs, have been around for years. In view of changing road conditions over time, a full review is really overdue.
