London’s ultra-low emission zone launched

Transport for London’s ultra-low emission zone (ULEZ) came into force in the central London congestion charge zone this week, introducing additional charges for non-compliant vehicles.

The ULEZ operates 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Non-compliant cars, vans and motorcycles must pay a daily charge of £12.50. Non-compliant lorries (over 3.5 tonnes), buses and coaches must pay £100.
