Fife asks public to shape transport spend

people in Fife are to be given  a say in how the council spends its passenger transport budget.

Fife Council has chosen passenger transport as the subject for a trial of participatory budgeting, which allows local communities to help set spending priorities. The Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (CoSLA) and the Scottish Government have set a target for one per cent of all local authority budgets to be set this way by 2021.
