Local authorities in Wales this week expressed astonishment after LTT uncovered that the Welsh Government has top-sliced a national bus grant to fund a bus service in the constituency of Welsh transport minister Ken Skates. 

When asked about the funding arrangement this week, the Welsh Government said any council could request funding for individual routes. But several council transport officers told LTT they were unaware of the arrangement, which has seen Bus Services Support Grant (BSSG)...
