Transport for London has appointed Andy Lord as the new managing director of London Underground and TfL Engineering. He will take up the position on 4 November, replacing Nigel Holness who is joining Metro Trains Sydney as chief executive. Lord was executive vice president at Menzies Aviation and previously worked for British Airways for 25 years.
