Nottinghamshire County Council is developing plans for three major road schemes.
Councillors recently passed a motion calling for investigations of dualling the A617 Mansfield Ashfield Regeneration Route (MARR) between the A38 at King’s Mill, south-west of Mansfield, and the A617 Rainworth bypass to the south-east (the latter is a dual carriageway).
The MARR was completed in 2004 and connects Mansfield and Ashfield to the M1 and A1.
