Construction of Transport for London’s Silvertown Tunnel may be delayed after the losing bidder launched a legal challenge to the contract award.
In June, TfL named Riverlinx as preferred bidder for the design, build, finance and maintain contract for a twin bore tunnel under the Thames in east London (LTT 07 Jun). Riverlinx comprises: Aberdeen Standard Investments, the BAM PPP PGGM joint venture, Cintra, Macquarie Capital, and SK E+C.
