Five Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire district councils are withdrawing from the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, to comply with the Government’s requirement that LEPs should not have overlapping boundaries from 1 April next year. Bassetlaw, Bolsover, North East Derbyshire, Derbyshire Dales and Chesterfield will belong only to the D2N2 LEP, while the Sheffield City Region LEP will cover only the four metropolitan districts of Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster....
