Exempting Euro 6 from diesel ban would be unfair – Bristol

Allowing Euro 6 diesel cars to drive within Bristol’s diesel car ban zone would be unfair to low income households who can’t afford them, says Bristol City Council. 

The council’s cabinet this month approved plans for a Class C clean air zone covering much of the city and a diesel car ban covering a smaller area including the city centre (LTT 08 Nov). They would be introduced by the end of March 2021.
