Boroughs clamp down on engine idling

London boroughs have launched a new campaign against drivers who leave their engines running when parked.

The £500,000 London Idling Action project is funded by the mayor’s air quality fund and is led by the City of London Corporation and the London Borough of Camden. The City and Camden said 32 of the capital’s 33 boroughs were taking part in the initiative.
