Transport secretary Grant Shapps has appointed new Traffic Commissioners for Northwest England and Wales. Gerallt Evans will be the new Traffic Commissioner for Northwest England. He is currently deputy chief crown prosecutor with responsibility for all prosecutions in Magistrates Courts in Wales, and succeeds Simon Evans.
