Cambridge City Council is to pilot ‘no car zones’ outside two schools. Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders will be used to restrict traffic for up to an hour around both school start and finish times. The trial will run for six-eight weeks in the summer term and could be continued for a further year. Access will be retained for residents, healthcare professionals, and children with disabilities.
