North Lanarkshire Council is progressing plans for a bus-based park-and-ride facility near the Eurocentral freight facility, close to Coatbridge and the M8 motorway. Site investigation work commenced last month and an outline business case should be presented to councillors in November. A lead designer will be procured later this year and the council plans to submit a planning application towards the end of the year....
