STAGECOACH SOUTH managing director Andrew Dyer has warned that a £2m funding gap in the Sussex concessionary fare scheme risks leading to cuts in the Worthing bus network from?August 6 unless additional cash is forthcoming.

Dyer also says he believes that the scheme is denying the company proper reimbursement for the additional costs of

operating its services. If the cuts go ahead at least one service will be scrapped and frequencies cut elsewhere.
